Hemant Gupta

As a business broker with Clyth MacLeod Business Sales, I specialise in laundromats, dry-cleaning, dairies, liquor stores, Restaurant and Takeaways and fruit and vegetable businesses. I work with owners and buyers across these sectors, bringing practical market knowledge and a personal approach to each sale.

Laundromats are a particular area of focus for me, with experience across self-service laundromats, serviced laundromats and commercial laundry businesses. Through my work in this sector, I have developed a detailed understanding of laundry machines, industry suppliers, operating requirements and what is involved in setting up a laundromat. This knowledge allows me to recognise the strengths of each business, communicate these effectively to buyers and help both parties make informed decisions throughout the sale process.

I understand that every business is different and take the time to learn about its operations, its opportunities and the owner’s goals. For sellers, my focus is on presenting your business effectively and finding a suitable, motivated buyer. For buyers, I listen to your requirements and help identify opportunities that suit your experience, budget and ambitions.

The team at Clyth MacLeod have been proudly selling businesses since 1972 and are considered pioneers of the industry. We work together, giving you the benefit of our collective experience and whole-team approach to marketing your business.

Originally from India, I came to New Zealand at the age of one and have called it home ever since. I pride myself on being approachable, professional, and easy to communicate with, building relationships with people from all backgrounds. Whether you are buying or selling, you can expect clear guidance, regular communication and a committed approach from our first conversation through to settlement.
